As an Entrepreneur to Mumpreneur, I have been thinking hard what to share to my fellow aspiring business owners since I am still struggling to make a living and increase my sales even at this time when my kids are preparing to sleep. It took me a few weeks to firm up my title after I recalled a conversation that I had with Vicky’s infant care principal. What is it? It’s the spirit that pushes you forward to achieve your goal even when all the bad things comes tumbling down at the same time. The mind that’s tell you that you are the last one standing and you have to lead the family. The angel that says you can do it, just endure a bit and you will see the rainbow after a rain. If there is no rain, the rainbow will never arrive.

I know of only one thing that keep driving us away from the wheel of success. As a Mommy to a pair of siblings, a finance manager and a mentor to my staffs, I often come across adversity in everyone I meet.

  • Does this sound familiar to you?
  • I did not meet the right boss.
  • I did not find the right teacher.
  • I don’t have time to have children.
  • I don’t have family support.
  • I don’t know what to do.
  • I can’t make a living doing what I love.
  • I don’t have time.
  • I am not welcome by the colleagues

Excuse is the easiest ways shut the door of success.

Life is not a bed of roses. I bet no one can raise their hands up to tell me that their lives have always been a pictures of calm sea, sunny day and beautiful beaches. Once in a while, we will meet challenges that make us stronger. The demon in us will often will choose the easy way.

‘’Just quit! Why do I have to tire myself? ” Is quitting really the easy way out?

The answer is ‘’YES”.

I passed my driving test on the 5th try at the age of 29 when my 1st test was taken at age 19 year old. Yes, I quit initially, but it was an awful feeling. A feeling of why I did not get my driving licence 10 years younger. With an encouragement from my hubby (He was a friend at that time), I started going for lessons and finally make it after the 5th try. After a month, I went to a 2nd hand car dealer shop and purchased my 1st car on 24th December 2009. If I did not persist on, I would never get to drive a car and started my career in real estate and now own a small start-up company.
