Teamwork is an important element to company success but you should also spend time with each individual alone. Taking a 10 minutes moment to understands his/her work or his/her family will make him/her feel truly appreciated.

Going too long in the same position, with no changes or hope for change, will eventually demotivate even the most ambitious employees. Plan a happy hour, a contest that they can look forward on a monthly basis.

A competitive environment pushes a productive environment, Encouraging employees to participate in competitions or challenges is healthy and may actually lead to increased productivity.
4. Set an example.
I can’t expect my employees to do anything that I wouldn’t do. As a CFO, I wore my boots and jackets and went into sub zero freezer to do stock take with the staffs. I ask for their feedback and the problem that they face during stock take. By the end of the stock take, I held a meeting with the operation executive department and provide them with my feedback. If I can get myself up the cold slippery staircases, why would not the staffs do the same.
5. Promote Teamwork.
Teamwork is the focus in Human Resource Management. No company can work with just 1 staff to create a multi-dollar company. EBOS held its first team building session on 22 June 2016 at the Escape Room. This is the first combined team building for Wang Foong and EBOS Team where our boss Dave was involved as well. I have to give 2 thumbs up for his commitment to promote teamwork.
